A relaxed and elegant atmosphere, with colors inspired by the surrounding nature and refined decor accents: these can be found in an apartment within a residential complex in Mamaia Nord, designed in record time by designer Anca Badoiu.
“The owner wanted me to integrate 2 pieces of furniture into the design which I transformed into a TV cabinet by mounting brushed stainless steel legs made to order and a towel cupboard in the hallway next to the bathroom.”
This apartment was intended to be a vacation rental property in a hotel regime, so the construction site started on April 15th had a deadline at the end of May. Thanks to attention to detail, organization and team involvement, the apartment was ready on June 1st, 2021 for the opening of the new season.
To fit within the limited time available, the designer chose to propose furniture pieces in stock at specialized stores, to harmoniously complement the existing pieces belonging to the owner. “The lamp next to the bed belongs to the owner and was bought from Italy, so the entire design revolved around personal objects.”
The 46 square meters of the apartment are arranged in a welcoming open space (kitchen, living room, dining area), hallway, a bedroom and bathroom.
The apartment was taken over from the developer with the finishes installed (tiles, faience, parquet flooring, equipped bathroom); therefore, special attention was paid to personalizing the space through furniture, a few decorative paint accents and all the present decorations and accessories, fitting within a budget of 8000 euros.
