A two-room configuration with a surface area of 50 square meters represents the description of many homes in our country. Today we propose to explore a redesign for such a space and find inspiration to start your own project at home.

One of the substantial changes made in this apartment was the modification of the color palette. Since the apartment has the advantage of a beautiful view, the living room windows were replaced with doors that facilitate access to the balcony. Thus, the room receives more natural light, and the light colors enhance the feeling of spaciousness.

The approach is modern and functional. Pieces of furniture from before the redesign were kept and additional bodies were added to ensure storage needs. An example of this can be found in the living room; the assembly around the television is the one from before the renovation, continued with a bookcase for storing books.

The arrangement is completed by a corner sofa with a storage box that can be easily used as a coffee table or an additional seating area. The decor is sprinkled with touches of color at the level of accessories: the rug, curtains, or decorative pillows. The ensemble created is harmonious, unitary, and bright.

The hallway is more spacious than we imagined. For this reason, a dining area was arranged here, right next to the kitchen. It should be noted that there are no doors between the living room and the kitchen to maintain a sense of continuity in the arrangement. Using the same type of parquet for all rooms enhances this feeling.

The kitchen is small and narrow, so the designer conceived an optimal ensemble for this configuration. He opted for furniture arranged in the shape of the letter L, with appliances built-in to maintain a neat, unitary look. The cream fronts, light-colored parquet keep the room as bright as possible.

For the bedroom, a design was desired that included a generous dressing room. This was arranged on an entire wall. The bed area is highlighted by wallpaper with a discreet print. A neutral chromatic is also predominant here to amplify the space, which is quite limited. In addition, artificial lighting contributes greatly to creating a relaxing, quiet, and comfortable atmosphere.

Following a modern, functional design, a redesign full of useful ideas was achieved from which you can draw inspiration for the renovation of your own apartment. Success!
