With each arrangement we bring to the pages of our website, we enrich ourselves with new ideas and approaches that we offer as a source of inspiration. Here is another such model that caught our attention. We will detail it below.
Open GalleryThe 2-room apartment benefited from the design by B K Studio designers who redesigned the space to be as bright as possible, and the functions to communicate harmoniously with each other. Thus, changes were made at the level of the hallway, but also of the living room.
Storage space was increased, creating a dressing area at the entrance to the bedroom, and the living room now communicates directly with the kitchen, eliminating the door between the two rooms. The door connecting the living room and the hallway was also removed. Overall, the resulting space is more coherent, more fluid, and the connection between functions is more evident.
From a chromatic point of view, white was chosen, natural wood essences to balance and bring warmth to the rooms, but also color accents that brighten the space. We encounter in the living area the combination between gray and mustard yellow, a balanced and visually pleasing mix.
For the living room, an airy arrangement was chosen, with shades that amplify natural light. The furniture includes the main pieces, the yellow sofa standing out exceptionally. The armchair, along with the floor lamp, discreetly outlines a reading area near the window. At the opposite end of the room, a medium-height bookcase with open shelves was integrated.
For an extra texture at the decor level, the wall with the TV was clad with white brick tiles.
The transition to the kitchen is made directly through the space left after removing the door. The room is quite spacious, allowing for an arrangement that can be delimited between the technical area dedicated to cooking and the one intended for dining. The furniture is compact, arranged in the shape of the letter L, with storage concentrated in the lower units.
Built-in appliances enhance the unitary character of the arrangement. The gray front of the furniture contrasts with the yellow chairs, thus taking up the chromatic motif encountered in the living room, and the mosaic made of ceramic tiles developed on the walls increases brightness.
The table is extendable, allowing for use even when there are guests. The kitchen arrangement gives an elegant, modern air, reducing the technical character of the space and bringing it closer to the decor of the living room.
