With a budget of 30,000 euros, this apartment in the central area of Bucharest, taken over from the developer with all finishes and sanitary ware included, was personalized through furniture, decorative paint accents, and small accessories that make a difference in a successful interior design.
The 60 square meter apartment plus an 11 square meter terrace stands out for its spacious rooms and natural light. The clients wanted a modern, airy design in warm colors.
The concept we started from took into account the client's requirements, her lifestyle, and her personality. Thus, we managed to furnish a well-organized, modern apartment in warm colors with sufficient storage spaces.
The color palette they chose is a bright one, in warm tones of white, beige, with accents of intense colors (powder pink, green in the living area, intense red in the bedroom). For furniture, a lot of white and light gray shades were proposed to visually enlarge the space.
Wooden inserts are meant to warm up the space and highlight the rest of the simple, matte elements in the design.
In terms of layout, the apartment consists of an open-space kitchen, dining area, and living room, a generous entrance hall, bathroom, bedroom, and a terrace that runs the entire length of the apartment.
Living Room and the open-space kitchen were organized so that they communicate well visually with each other. Thus, the kitchen was organized on two walls, with furniture made of MDF painted matte white and Egger pal melaminat with a wood texture. Without applied handles, in as minimalist a note as possible.
The dining table stands out with its stone top, while the velvet chairs come to soften the tactile hardness of the stone. A desk area was also designed in the living room, suitable for the owner's work-from-home needs. The decorative paint in the living room accentuates the two walls without overloading them.
The design team told us that the interior design took approximately four months, with a low degree of complexity, and the apartment was handed over in January 2021.
