Located on the top floor with a view of the Moscova River, the apartment has only 38 square meters, distributed in two rooms (bedroom and living area), an access hallway, and a bathroom. The finishing touches, completed in 2019, involved a moderate investment and focused effort on architectural details and decorative elements.

The beneficiary is a modern woman who desired a comfortable home with bright rooms, light colors, and interesting decor accents to personalize the space. From an art enthusiast's perspective, she wanted to surround herself with beautiful, expressive objects.

Concept

By mutual agreement with the client, the works of English artist Amy Judd formed the basis and inspiration for the chromatic concept of the interior design: white, shades of blue, beige tones; all within a modern framework with subtle contrasts. Two of the artist's paintings were reproduced, printed on canvas, and integrated into the apartment's decor.

Without overloading the space too much, the architect proposed a modern style with insertions of classic and retro lines and a decor with strong color accents, harmoniously integrating art pieces. The lighting fixtures, central to the design, have their own story and stand out through their elegance.

Most of the furniture pieces were chosen from catalogs; the kitchen, living room bookcase, and built-in wardrobe in the bedroom were custom-made based on the architect's concept and sketches.

A requirement of the beneficiary was to solve the storage spaces, efficiently organizing clothes and collections of shoes and bags; therefore, the designers created various storage systems, maximizing the available space.

Bedroom in shades of blue

The bedroom opted for a mix of functionality, ergonomics, and pleasant visual impact. By using straight geometric shapes with accents and rounded details and a warm color palette (cream and white shades) with cool blue inserts, an elegant and soothing atmosphere was created.

The ribbed headboard, made of blue velvet, was harmoniously framed by two large, sculptural bedside lamps placed on nightstands with extremely practical storage spaces. The composition of decorative pillows synthesizes the chromatic palette used in the bedroom's design, having different textures that add a touch of dynamism to the space.

The built-in wardrobes, reaching up to the ceiling, create the illusion of a high room and ensure the necessary storage space. The white doors feature profiles inspired by classic furniture, thus contributing to the overall elegance of the interior design.
