Located in a residential complex in the northern area of the capital, the three-room apartment with 78 square meters of usable space was designed for a young family and their daughter.

The design had a budget of 19,000 euros (excluding finishes) and was completed in 2020 based on the concept and careful coordination of the Cristian Patrascu Architecture Studio. The project implementation took about three months.

The concept revolved around a minimalist, modern style with neutral color tones - shades of gray, beige, light wood. Accents are given by the textile materials used and natural plants. The warm hue of the parquet flooring provides that warmth to the home and is also a suitable background for the chosen color palette.

Its 45-degree arrangement generates dynamism, integrated harmoniously into the modern concept of the home.

Hidden jamb doors were proposed in the design, which give the house a very modern and elegant look. The velvet curtains, purchased from Kika, add color to the rooms and highlight their elegance.

The hallway space, being the first impact upon entering the home, was treated specially, constituting a summary of the entire design concept.

“At the end of the hallway we find a custom-made dressing room with doors that combine a series of wooden slats with mirrors between them. Thus, the mirror strips offer some interesting reflections of light. The gesture was taken further, and the slats were continued both on the ceiling and on the adjacent wall.

Living room with a modern, minimalist design includes the open-space kitchen. Here we find shades of white, black and accents of wood texture. The colored glass used for the kitchen splashback is enhanced by the Egger brand wooden countertop.

The kitchen area is also delimited at the ceiling level by track spotlights (from IOOOI). The kitchen furniture and the rest of the custom-made furniture were made by AG Expert Mobila.

The living room was designed taking into account the color scheme and style of the corner sofa that the beneficiaries kept from their old home. The TV wall was treated with decorative paint with a concrete effect.
