When you buy a home, you want everything to be new and modern, furnished according to your wishes. It's only natural to feel that way. It's a new house, a book with blank pages waiting to be written.
This is how the story of the apartment designed by Iulia Iuga-Dohmen for a young, recently married couple begins. After many searches they found it, but the adventure was just beginning because at the time of taking over the apartment was in an advanced state of degradation (outdated finishes and installations, cracked walls).
Therefore, the works carried out were complex, including uncovering the walls and floors, completely replacing the sanitary and electrical installations.

Iulia envisioned a design concept based on simplicity and functionality, with clean, bright interiors inspired by nature's colors. The large glazed surface was an advantage that could be exploited and valued to amplify the space in this 67 square meter apartment.
To create a natural, fresh, open look, wood essences were used for the flooring and furniture and pleasant neutral shades such as beige found in the ceramic tiles of the two bathrooms. Nature-inspired color accents (yellow, blue and green) are also present in the composition of rugs or window systems (see the curtain model in the kitchen).
The furniture was custom-made according to Iulia's sketches so that it would best suit the beneficiaries' wishes; the parquet is from Egger, and the paint is from Benjamin Moore.
