Starting from a small detail, you can build the theme of an entire interior design. This was also the case with this apartment, where the designer drew inspiration from the owners' passion for plants. Let's see the whole project in detail!
We are talking about a three-room apartment with a generous area of 100 square meters, the home of a family with one child. They turned to the services of a designer to outline together a modern and elegant home suitable for their needs. The two love nature and plants which they wanted to integrate harmoniously into the new design.
They also wanted an open kitchen towards the living room so that they could spend time together even when cooking or having friends or relatives over.
Widening the living room brings extra brightness, everything being perceived as spacious and airy. The chromatic base is a neutral one, with white and cream to which are added the colorful accents of green as an example of the nature motif. Against a background with plenty of light, green stands out and transmits relaxation and good mood.
The different textures that imitate wood also contribute to shaping the theme. A good example in this sense is the parquet or the base of the coffee table which imitates the shape of a tree trunk.
The arrangement is airy, without too many pieces of furniture that would overload the decor. Everything has been carefully selected, and the pieces and decorations give an elegant note to the interior, whether we are talking about the living room or the matrimonial bedroom.
The plants carefully looked after by the female part of the family have their privileged place in the living room; placed near a window, they create the impression of a small indoor garden, an accent area that catches your eye. The curtains or decorative pillows coherently complete this chromatic discourse in which green plays the main role.
Reconfiguring the living room leaves room for the possibility of creating a new room in case the family grows with another member. Opening the kitchen allowed for the arrangement of a dining area, with an extendable table for festive moments.
In the hallway space, a storage area was created for larger objects. In line with the theme, the entrance area, that of the coat rack, is clad with cork.
