The family living here wanted a classic but modern approach, with elegant and refined notes. Many beiges, greys, and greys were used, as well as white to create warm and comfortable environments; textures and prints were added that enrich and bring an extra touch of style to the spaces.
The living area includes the living room, dining area, and open-space kitchen. The attention to detail and especially the design of the furniture pieces reminiscent of the classic style are noteworthy. However, the entire layout remains airy and bright, with balanced furniture focused on the main areas.
By positioning the sofa in the center of the room, a visual delimitation of functions was achieved. Instead of a coffee table, two ottomans were chosen that can also be used as seating. The false fireplace and the television above it create an area of interest in the living room space. A workspace was also designed here.
Considering the opening of the kitchen to the room, the design focused on a compact layout with built-in appliances to maintain a unified and tidy appearance. The carved furniture takes up the motif of the classic style that we will find addressed in each room.
To have more workspace, an extendable kitchen island unit was created, which thus provides more space on the countertop, so necessary when cooking, but also additional storage spaces.
Since access to the dwelling is practically directly into the living room, a small area was designed to resemble an entrance hall; next to the front door there is a shoe cabinet and in a specially created niche two wardrobes with mirror panels were built-in. The idea is excellent for creating the illusion of spaciousness and extra light.
Lighting plays an important role throughout this design. Spotlights and pendant lights ensure uniformity throughout the apartment, with each area receiving an adequate amount of light.
