Located on Arthur Verona Street 19, Gradina O ARofera offers visitors a tranquil setting with lush greenery and relaxing background music, ideal for spending summer evenings. The terrace is divided into several types of zones to accommodate both large groups and those seeking an intimate spot.

The AR (Ordinul Arhitectilor Romani) is headquartered right next to this garden. This likely explains the rigor with which the space has been designed, where special attention has been paid to the symmetry of forms and textures, ensuring that each delineation within the location has a certain coherence.

The concept of Gradina O AR was designed to complement the space next to the architects' headquarters and adopt the character of the location. The aim was also to recreate the intimate atmosphere of a residential garden.

Initially, setting up the space took about a month, but annually there have been minor landscaping or restoration works. The Garden is now in its 7th season of activity. The team that carried out the work benefited from the contribution of architect Serban Sturdza, who was responsible for the spatial arrangement of the furniture and the creation of dividers.

Gradina O AR provides visitors with intimacy through separations created on a wooden platform. Each separation is delimited by a panel made from various materials ranging from massive stone slabs (marble, onyx, granite, limestone, travertine) to construction materials with an interesting texture.

The materials used do not clash with the landscape (for example, the wattle fence and other wooden elements), being carefully integrated into existing spaces.

In this garden, plants play a very important role. The ivy that has covered the metal pergola over the separators harmonizes the built space with nature very well. Similarly, the archway overgrown with grapevines, in the corner of the garden, under which is a long table surrounded by wicker chairs, creates an area that seems to transport us to our grandparents' courtyard in the countryside.

Gradina O AR is a place removed from the hustle and bustle of Bucharest, a recreation spot close to nature, a space where guests can recharge and relax by reading a book and enjoying a coffee, or where they can meet with their group of friends for pleasant evening conversations.

At Gradina O AR, some Fridays are dedicated to jazz concerts, events perfectly suited for summer evenings when we all seek a place to unwind and reflect on the week.
