As previously mentioned in an article, Scandinavian interiors are fascinating because of how they combine functionality with aesthetics, highlighting the beauty of a space through simple yet effective details.
Today's home is an open-space layout flooded with natural light and features impactful elements that draw the eye. One of the most unique ideas is painting the stairs black against a perfectly white backdrop.
I also appreciate how they combined old and new, creating a harmonious blend within the decor (vintage chairs seamlessly integrate with modern elements in the space).
However, the ingenious idea of using a chair as a decorative piece (literally hanging it on a wall) is truly original and what captivated me most about this interior design.
As with any Scandinavian design, white dominates throughout, with pops of color interrupting its perfection. The monochromatic palette of black, white, and gray allows the space to breathe and feel airy through its thoughtful decoration.
Each zone is well-defined and nuanced through a few colors and shapes: the sofa, lamp, chair, and wall art for the living area; and asymmetric chairs in form and design for the dining area.
The kitchen area is designed simply yet efficiently, combining cabinets with shelves against a discreet backdrop of gray tiles. The storage solutions are also interesting, with the refrigerator and some cabinets tucked under the stairs. A multifunctional decor that is simple but impactful.
Flower pots enliven the atmosphere, adding a pleasant touch to a space filled with light where any plant can thrive harmoniously.
