Small bathrooms are a reality many of us face daily. And when we only have one bathroom and it's small, our options are considerably limited. However, there are practical solutions we can use with confidence. Here's what you can do.
First, you need to adapt the furniture or give up on it altogether. Depending on how small your bathroom is, you can limit yourself to just a cosmetic cabinet or simply shelves that you can use as storage areas for towels, cosmetics and bath products. A sink or a few hanging shelves can also be very useful.
It all depends on the aesthetic you want for your bathroom.
White reflects light and creates the impression of spaciousness in a room. And for a small bathroom it will be the best option. We don't exclude color spots or decorative accents, but it is good for them to be limited, especially where there is no window through which some sunlight can penetrate.
And because we are talking about small bathrooms, it is good to take into account any space, even the one above the toilet or the wall with the bathtub. These two options are excellent for mounting the niches we mentioned earlier. Replace the bathtub with a shower cabin. It takes up less space and thus you gain valuable space.
Use the right lighting! Consider general lighting from the ceiling and spotlights that you can mount above the mirror. Don't ignore the shower area either. More and more decorators recommend installing a light above the shower area. The brighter it is, the more spacious the bathroom will appear.
