If the space you live in is small and you always wonder how you could rearrange it to feel good, we found an answer for you in this apartment. Maria, the homeowner, shows us that when you really want to change something, you can do it without fear of failure.
Having reduced dimensions, this apartment doesn't offer an appealing perspective. But Maria didn't give up, but instead aimed to go further with the redesign as she felt it would be right. And despite the small and narrow space, there are also positive aspects such as natural light or the view from the terrace.
Every area of the apartment is well-defined. White is predominant to support the feeling of brightness and amplification of space. From walls to doors and furniture, white leaves the impression of a clean and pleasant environment. The entrance hall is very narrow and the passage quickly leads to the living area.
Here, an extendable sofa, a coffee table, and a TV stand along with some shelves and a bookcase form a cozy and pleasant spot bathed in sunlight.
Decorations personalize the room discreetly: decorative pillows, a planter, a painting, a vase, a few scented candles. The eye is pleasantly drawn to the paintings on the wall with the sofa, they being Maria's work who works in an advertising agency. Gold lighting fixtures come to create a point of interest alongside the aforementioned paintings.
From the living room, you exit onto the small terrace which allows you to admire the city from above and even glimpse the sea.
The hallway connects the functions of the house. From the entrance area, into the living room, then to the kitchen and finally to the bedroom. The small kitchen is actually a kitchenette equipped with a minimum of accessories. It is worth noting the refrigerator with a very cute model.
And in the bedroom (which is my favorite, by the way) you can find part of Maria's creativity (see the paintings on the wall with the bed). Since there was no room for a wardrobe, an hanger storage system adapted to the space was chosen. Details make the difference: a small white bedside table elegantly accessorized with a lamp and a planter, decorative pillows, and a pendant light.
