A two-bedroom apartment gained personality through the intervention of textile patterns and amplitude through the use of mirrors (which can really fool the eye!). The arrangement we present to you today bears the signature of Anna Demushkina, who took care of everything related to design accents, patterns, and the choice of textile material options.

All these colors and patterns, together, bring the apartment to life and personalize it while maintaining its classic style direction.

Classic living room, geometric patterns, Scandinavian accents

The living room constitutes a harmonious mix of solid colors and geometric patterns. The strong colors of the sofa and armchair contrast pleasantly with the light shade of the laminate flooring. Using patterns always requires courage. Too much can be tiring, too little can be monotonous for some people.

We can thus observe a plain sofa in a royal blue hue, accessorized with cushions in a darker shade of velvet blue along with cushions with green geometric patterns. If we look more closely, all these colors and shades used for furniture and decorations seem to have been extracted from the Impressionist painting placed above the sofa, in its axis.

Kitchen as an extension of the living room

The kitchen surprises with a different approach to the dining area, consisting of a comfortable textile sofa and a modern glass table with 3 chairs. The presence of the sofa makes the dining area much more comfortable and welcoming, almost like a living room corner brought into the kitchen.

Here, white dominates and shades of gray, with accents of green (cushions and rug) and yellow (washable paint and drapery). This successfully ensures a pleasant, bright, and relaxed atmosphere. And in which we can relax while cooking or eating, transforming the routine habit into a true ritual, savoring every moment.

As we are probably already used to, most contemporary kitchens have ovens and microwaves built into cabinets. In this case, we have a second tall kitchen unit where a large amount of items can be stored.

Placing a mirror on a section of the wall opposite the kitchen furniture creates an effect of amplifying the space, the drapery is reflected in it and seems to double the width of the space all at once!
