We previously told you in an article how to maintain and clean leather furniture without affecting the surface and at the same time keeping its shine.
Today, Deschide GaleriaAstazi will tell you how to remove some common types of stains from leather sofas or other leather furniture using readily available products.
As general rules: it is important to wipe the stain immediately as soon as it occurs because if it manages to penetrate the fabric it will be much more difficult to remove, if not impossible, do not use abrasive materials as you will scratch the leather, do not use products containing silicone or products that you normally use for cleaning cars, do not use ammonia-based products, makeup remover wipes or solvents and vacuum furniture as often as possible.
How to remove ink stains from leather surfaces: take a few makeup remover pads, soak them in rubbing alcohol and clean the stained surface with circular motions. Dry everything with a hairdryer set to the lowest temperature.
How to remove dark stains from leather surfaces: Mix equal amounts of tartar sauce with lemon juice. Apply the mixture over the stain and rub gently a few times and then let it act for 10 minutes. Use a cloth soaked in water with moisturizing liquid soap and then wipe everything with a dry cloth.
How to remove grease stains from leather surfaces: Never add water. Use a dry cloth. After wiping away the grease marks very well, clean the sofa as you normally do.
