This piece of furniture was used for years as an ironing board, a factor that is not at all beneficial for wood, and as you can see, the wardrobe in the image is not exactly in the best condition.

We are sure that you too have certain pieces of furniture that you no longer like because they are outdated, damaged, or have minor defects caused by the passage of time. Before thinking about throwing away old furniture in the garbage or into the firewood pile, make sure it can't be refurbished in any way or that you can't find another use for it.

Beth, a specialist in refurbishing old furniture, took this wardrobe, which was in a rather advanced state of wear and tear, and showed us the results after completely refurbishing it inside and out. "I love taking on such challenges when it comes to refurbishing old wood," Beth said enthusiastically.

Upon completion of Beth's project, the former outdated wardrobe, used as an ironing board, now looks like a very chic dresser, a place where any woman would want to get ready and prepare before a meeting or going out.

Using white, a saving color for old furniture, the wardrobe from before gained a completely new lease on life with some beautiful details at the feet.

Due to the very advanced wear and tear, I had to completely replace the wardrobe top, as it was beyond repair. I used a solid pine wood piece and netzed the edges.

The front drawers were also in a rather serious condition, but given that wood is quite forgiving, through sanding and varnishing I managed to give the entire piece of furniture a new lease on life," Beth concluded.
