Interiology is a design studio from Bucharest specializing in interior design. The objects designed and created by the team Interiology surprise with their original shapes and unconventional materials they use. We present you 3 of the tables made by them.
Star Table
Star Table is the ingenious result of the meeting between the renowned design of the Listone Giordane brand and the inspiration of the architect who brought it to life, Alexandru Bucur. It can accommodate up to 8 people.
For the tabletop, Slide wood parquet from Listone Giordano was used, framed by a solid oak frame. Made by the parquet manufacturer Listone Giordano, with a design by Daniele Lago, “Slide” represents a challenge: the traditional wood strips are replaced with a modular system consisting of three trapezoids that combine to create various games and interconnections.
These trapezoids will form an interesting design surface every time, even with just one module. If modules 2 and 3 are put together, the result is a periodic floor, which generates a feeling of disorder although in reality there are only two shapes.
The tabletop therefore has an unexpected movement of lines, capable of surprising and captivating, without losing the value and naturalness of a noble and warm material such as wood.
The 3 legs made of concrete were made with Tego formwork and vibrated concrete. One of the legs bears the imprint with the name of the table. Through the successful combination of the skill of those who worked on its creation and the ingenuity of the wood-concrete combination, this design object was created in over 20 hours of work.
The Star Table is currently on display in the Delta Studio showroom on Progresului Street no. 1-3 in Bucharest.
X-Table
X-Table is a vintage proposal with a modern twist. It has a clean design, with simple lines, that easily fits into a variety of interior design styles. Spacious enough to accommodate up to 8 people, X-Table is perfect for dinners or board games with friends and family.
The tabletop is made of solid oak, made from wide lamellas with bizot. Finish: ecological water-based oil. The legs in the shape of an X are made of metal construction with a raw, sanded metal look.
Parchet pe Viata took care of the wood supply and craftsmanship.
Origami Reception
Created by architect Alexandru Bucur, the Origami reception represents the ideal mix between supermodern and spectacular. The horizontal MDF slats, each with a different section, create multiple shapes of the reception depending on the perspective from which it is viewed.
Covered with 6mm safety glass and with a generous space for the receptionist, Origami easily finds its place in the hi-tech settings of medical laboratories or in the receptions of office buildings.
