It is difficult to recreate a rustic style in an apartment building, but not impossible. Proof of this is the very arrangement that amazed us with its execution and details. Let's find out more below.
Initially, the beneficiaries thought they would approach the design as simply as possible, close to the Scandinavian style. After a vacation spent at a manor house with an authentic decor, they decided to go for a rustic-modern variant, adapted to the landscape of the block. They turned to the help of a designer with whom they collaborated on the project. The result is simply wonderful!
To recreate the rustic atmosphere, they used natural materials, with patina, brick, wood, stone and even a modern fireplace that runs on bioethanol. The details were carefully chosen, some of the decorations existing in the family's collection.
In the living room, the design was intended to be as airy as possible, so that the decorative pieces would stand out. The coffee table, the furniture body as a support for the television, the suitcases, the lighting fixtures are just a few of the elements that send us to the theme addressed. The fireplace and the exposed brick wall form the focal point of the living room decor.
The overlapping drapes, as well as the chosen pattern, also remind us of rustic stories.
The bedroom was approached in the same spirit. We find brick cladding here again, floral drapes, but also furniture in a classic style. The addition of beams at ceiling level brings the design even closer to the rustic style. Everything blends harmoniously, inspiring comfort and relaxation.
For the kitchen, we follow the line of the same rustic-modern design, excellently rendered here through the patinated furniture, the hob integration, the granite countertop or the cladding that imitates stone at floor level.
The dining area is also wonderfully rendered in the context of this kitchen. Exposed brick appears here as well as a leitmotif of the arrangement, and the branches painted white and glued to the wall continue the idea of rustic interpreted at the level of an apartment building.
