Designed in a rustic-chic spirit, today's layout is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful I have written about here in Povestea casei. It's not necessarily the finesse of the details, but the feeling of home, of belonging that attracts and pleases alike.

Becoming a mother, designer Carolina Juanes started decorating her own house out of a natural need for expansion and redecoration. She desired a more personal space, closer to the notion of home she had imagined for so long. She put a lot of heart into it, and the results are impressive.

Attention to detail, accessories, and decorations create a special atmosphere where every object tells a story, the story of the family enjoying every moment spent together. This state is conveyed by the way the common spaces were conceived.

The dining area is, in my opinion, the heart of this design, an open-plan nucleus that also includes the kitchen so that the family can be together and cook together. Conceived as a socializing space for everyone, with benches and a table with 2 chairs, this dining room can accommodate up to 10 people.

The space itself communicates directly with the kitchen, but the separation is made by a countertop with a wainscoting look that does not allow exposure of the entire work area of the kitchen.

The living room is in the same room, but the arrangement and visual separation of functions have been very well executed, leaving the impression that the kitchen and living room are 2 distinct rooms. The apartment has a surface area of 80 square meters, and the living area occupies more than half of the dwelling.

The overall setting is elegant, modern, with plenty of white and neutral, diaphanous tones. The wood essences found in various forms throughout the interior bring the space closer to nature, while natural light amplifies it. In the living room, the travertine-clad wall, the fireplace, and the warm textures of the upholstery and rug transmit a feeling of well-being and comfort, a decor that seems to embrace you.

The grey-blue accents, as well as the decorations, discreetly remind us of the Mediterranean landscape that warms up the dining area. An excellent mix of styles that blend harmoniously to create an exceptional contemporary design.
