Often, what attracts me to a design are the bold colors. And when I say bold, I'm referring especially to red, which inevitably draws you in like a magnet. As in the case of this kitchen; red and white in a harmonious arrangement, balanced and appealing at the same time.

Today's apartment takes us on a journey into a retro space, with furniture typical of the 1950s, against a Scandinavian style backdrop. You feel the minimalism that Scandinavians value so much, but the space doesn't lack personal, contemporary touches. Lots of white in the background and then discreet accents of color, the essence of wood in the flooring component and olive green furniture.

Total surface area of 55 square meters allows for the development of a creative style, with pop-art posters and paintings, a mix of influences suitable for a youthful, slightly nonconformist design.

In the kitchen, the red Smeg refrigerator (a brand renowned for its retro, colorful refrigerator models) is the star. The rest of the white furniture and Subway-style tiles complete the retro-inspired decor, but contemporary at the same time. The space isn't very generous, but it's enough to integrate a dining area.

The flooring takes up the red-white motif of the design, creating a bold yet harmonious decor.

The cramped bedroom space demonstrates how you can be creative and organized in a room primarily intended for rest. The desk by the window doesn't clutter the room, being an inspired and practical choice. Choosing this type of dresser helps the space while also providing storage for clothes.

Scandinavians love natural light, so it's no surprise that windows often don't have curtains and/or drapes. They generally opt for white models as translucent as possible, almost transparent to filter the light pleasantly (see the bedroom curtains).
