We love the Scandinavian style and have written about it before here, at Povestea Casei. However, with each apartment we describe, we fall in love even more.

Today we will reveal a Scandinavian-style apartment with specific elements: functionality, natural materials, and a predominant white color, but without the minimalism to which designers who approach this style have accustomed us. Nevertheless, the arrangement gives the impression that everything is in its place and has a precise purpose, ordered.

The living area is an open space, with each space well-defined both by colors and by elements that coordinate very well together. Against a white background, we will find the neutral color palette of the sofa, pleasantly complemented by playful orange zigzags and details (the armchair and decorative pillow) which brighten and cheer up the space.

Framed artwork adorns and enriches the living room, accentuating the focal point of the area.

The dining area maintains the white background, with black light fixtures discreetly drawing attention. The light from the kitchen provides sufficient brightness for the dining table, white being an asset to create the impression of a larger, uncluttered, and organized space.

The two bedrooms are simple and comfortable. In the first, we find the same black-white-gray color palette from the living room, of course with the same pleasant presence of orange. Even though the space is small, the design has incorporated a small workspace. The colorful zigzags add an extra touch of accent to the room. The other bedroom is the opposite of the first, being the child's room.

Pops of color cheerfully adorn the room, with pink being predominant.
