The project, carried out by Parasite Studio, aims to create a simple space with clear delimitations of activity areas and which, through its simplicity, allows for personalization by the owner.
The main element is wood, which can be found in every room. The unity it creates is also reflected in its continuation from the floor to the texture of the furniture.
The transition between rooms is marked by a color accent, such as the green one towards the living room. Red is also used in the kitchen to mark the main areas.
In the living room, the focal point is a reinterpreted bookcase. Placed near the window, it also takes on the role of a relaxation area. It also has storage spaces, and the woody texture is highlighted by the accent color, green.
In the kitchen, the furniture has a minimalist feature through clearly defined geometric lines and the door opening/closing system. Thus, the classic handles have been replaced with rectangular cutouts of the doors, arranged differently.
The same style continues in the bedroom, where the upper and side surfaces of the furniture, including the bed, are white, aiming to blend with the walls. The accent color red is also present, marked on the chandelier.
However, chromatic accents are used discreetly so as to be lost among the elements that will personalize the room and which will be chosen by the owner. The main purpose of furnishing the apartment was to create a simple, unified space where accents only "guide" the eye and mark the main activity areas.
