Your bathroom can gain personality through a few simple DIY projects that you can implement without a major investment, but just with a little imagination.
Open the GallerySince we're not talking about a complete renovation, here are some elements you can consider to refresh the look of your bathroom. Think about things that can be integrated into an existing decor, such as a few shelves. You probably only have the ones above the sink right now.
If replacing them isn't an option, then mount others on the opposite wall: 2 or 4 for symmetry. Want something unique? Choose an impactful color too.
To gain more storage space, install a metal bar between the shelves. You will be able to keep the hand towel there. If the wall space allows, install a longer shelf at the base of the wall. You will surely find things to store there.
A shower curtain is a very simple way to discreetly change the look of your bathroom. Choose a colorful model in vibrant shades to liven up the space. You'll find many models in DIY stores. Explore your creative side and paint a design on the shower curtain.
a wooden box to be used as a support for decorations. If the space in your bathroom allows it, choose a corner for this box. Paint it with a base color (we recommend white) and then, after it has dried well, draw lines or circles of different sizes which you can then lightly color with acrylic watercolors.
You can use the box as a stand for a vase, a plant, or towels.
Want a new vanity? Here's an original project: use the top from a desk and install adjustable legs as support. Cut the top to fit the sink and the rest of the pipes and faucets, and you're done. For a truly standout design, choose a model that mounts behind the sink.
This idea works well if you choose not to install a mask at the sink. Or even better, if you already have a white mask installed in the form of a two-door cabinet, be creative and personalize it. You can apply washi tape or repaint it with the same acrylic watercolors. The pattern is up to your liking.
Some of the simplest options you can consider are stickers that you can stick on tiles, the sink, or the bathroom cabinet. They require little time and the effect is guaranteed. All you have to do is decide on a design.
