Today's arrangement is a source of inspiration for any young person who dreams of having their own place, whether it's just a rented room or a small apartment like this one of 35 square meters.

Without much time available and a relatively limited budget, Marina together with her parents decided to furnish the apartment according to their own ideas. They painted the apartment and replaced the flooring, and in the bathroom they changed the tiles and faience, as well as the sanitary installations.

They first thought about comfort: a bed for sleeping, a desk for homework and projects, a small dresser for storage, a table often used as a nightstand, and a wardrobe in the hallway for clothes and other bulkier items.

Since the space is limited, they chose to paint the walls white and thus keep the decor as bright as possible. Similarly, they opted for minimalist furniture so that later pieces such as a bookcase or a sofa suitable for the space could be added.

Most of the furniture items and accessories were purchased from IKEA to fit within the budget.

They found inspiration in Scandinavian interiors, and the touches of color were Marina's desire to further personalize the space, thus avoiding monotony. Thus, two walls in the hallway were painted orange, and the wardrobe chosen with green, glossy doors. The decorative accessories also bring a touch of color (see the table or the pouf used as an armchair).

Since Marina likes to draw and paint, her easel also finds its place in the arrangement.

And for the kitchen they followed the same simple approach. They chose only the main units, with a built-in hob and oven, and instead of cupboards in the upper part, they opted for two functional shelves. Simple but efficient, that's what Marina wanted from her kitchen, knowing she would cook rarely.

In the bathroom, Marina was the one who thought about the decor. She played with colors and prints, and the result is as creative as possible. Walls in sky blue, white Metro-style tiles, sand-colored tiles, and an accent wall with intensely colored decorative tiles - this chromatic play brings joy to the space.
