Who is afraid of dark colors? Certainly not this designer, who aimed to highlight through a loft-style interior design that gray and black accents can integrate perfectly even in a small space. The home we propose is only 31 square meters and is located in an industrial history building, a former factory transformed into living spaces. Excellent conversion!

Considering this detail, the designer focused on creating a loft-style home with accents and details that subtly reveal the old function of the space. Dark tones prevail at the level of finishes such as tiles and industrial-type accessories, perceived mainly in the lighting fixtures and dining area.

The design is unitary in concept. Exposed brick is the leitmotif of this space, a testament to an industrial past. Despite a palette dominated by grays, metallic inserts and black accents, the space is not oppressive. Natural light penetrating through large windows contributes greatly, as well as varied lighting meant to highlight each zone of this loft.

To maintain the visual unity of the design, the designer opted for the use of the same type of tiles throughout the space, with a small exception in the small entrance hall; the vintage-inspired model fits wonderfully into the described theme. The kitchen cabinets are also vintage.

The small kitchen space receives plenty of natural light, so the dark-colored furniture does not suffocate this area of the house. Everything is built-in and arranged on two sides, ensuring storage needs and cooking space. The dining area discreetly transitions into a small living area; the sofa and suspended television, along with the desk, minimally compose this function.

Because the space has a long and narrow layout, a sleeping area was also designed after the sofa, visually separated by a curtain. The bathroom was also optimized to accommodate a shower area and a washing machine. The finishes reiterate the industrial-vintage motif presented in this loft.

All storage for this small home is located in a pantry (see the door next to the sofa).
