If you've set out to renovate your home this year, we thought we'd lend a hand with some ideas for decorating the hallway. Usually, this small part of our homes is often overlooked, as we focus on the main rooms. But let's get down to specifics. How can you decorate the hallway in a simple way that still looks good?
Regardless of the furniture pieces you choose for the hallway, keep the following tip in mind: maintain order. For this, you need a wardrobe where you can store your daytime clothes. In summer, you don't encounter such problems, but in winter, a small hallway becomes cramped for coats, hats, and boots, all placed on a coat rack.
In addition to a wardrobe to store bulky clothing, you also need a shoe cabinet that can be integrated into the body of the chosen hallway furniture or separately as a standalone piece. In this case, you can also consider a bench with storage space.
Shelves or shelves can prove very useful when we want to add a touch of style to the hallway decor. A painting, photographs, plants, special boxes for storage - these are just a few examples of items with which we can beautify the hallway decor.
Other options you can use are suspended systems like the one below. Such a system is suitable for a small hallway in a studio apartment or a one-room apartment.
Depending on your family's needs, you can choose one or two shoe cabinets, either tall or with fewer compartments. Footwear will be neatly arranged inside them, and the hallway will regain a tidy look.
The more floor space, the larger the space appears. This is also true for a small hallway. As you can see in the layout below, some of the furniture is suspended, leaving more free space. The same can be done with shoe cabinets; in this case, the model may be custom-made to match the overall decor.
