The 3D trend has extended to the world of interior design, and the result is fascinating. Epoxy resin floors have revolutionized interiors in recent years through their versatility and the uniqueness of the designs created.

Recently, Imperial, a company from Dubai, implemented 3D printing technology for epoxy resins, radically changing the concept of flooring. The result is spectacular: a smooth surface that is perceived as a three-dimensional image, with varied textures and shades. The layer we usually walk on, often ignored, thus gains maximum impact.

This type of finish, currently exclusive and found mainly in commercial spaces, will certainly become popular in the coming years. Through its versatility and detail strength, such a floor visually amplifies any space. In addition, it challenges the user to a game of imagination – we are used to looking ahead or up, ignoring the space we step on.

In the case of these floors, however, it is hard for us to take our eyes off the floor.

For decorating bathrooms, the most common designs are marine ones: algae, dolphins, fish, water, waves, sand. Viewed from the right angle, they appear alive. At first glance, the marine creatures seem to emerge from the floor, swimming among passersby. Imagine the feeling of peace and relaxation inspired by a bath in such a space, which faithfully recreates a marine environment.

In such an arrangement, it is preferable for the walls to be as simple as possible so as not to overload them excessively.

Furniture can be adjusted to the drawings on the floor, to appear as an extension of them.

Shells and other real marine decorations can also be added. In addition to its extraordinary aesthetic appearance, this type of decorative finish has advantages such as an uninterrupted surface free of expansion joints or mounting joints, high resistance to wear, shocks and chemicals, and the possibility of being applied to surfaces of any size.

The ceramic tiles covering the walls ingeniously extend the 3D drawing from the floor.
