This 30-square-meter apartment in Stockholm beautifully captures the essence of Scandinavian design. Although not very spacious, this space is bright and airy. White walls, plants, and furniture in neutral colors have all been carefully considered to create a welcoming and functional living space.
What makes this arrangement special is undoubtedly the suspended bed above the sofa. Access to the bed is via a white wooden staircase that harmoniously integrates with the other decor elements. A bookshelf has also been attached to the bed, maximizing space utilization without wasting any corner.
The sofa positioned under the bed transforms the space into a multi-functional living room: a bedroom at night and a living room during the day. The bed placed close to the ceiling frees up considerable space, with the bed frame transformed into a shelf being a clever and creative idea.
The vibrant color palette provided by the book covers adds a touch of cheerfulness to the otherwise somewhat subdued atmosphere created by the predominant white of the walls and ceiling. Joining the two coffee tables in front of the sofa creates additional space, making the entire arrangement appear organized.
The furniture emanates warmth and comfort through the color of the wood from which it is made. The kitchen communicates with the living room through an open window, creating an open-space area. The yellow lamp is beautifully highlighted by the white walls and the light shade of the parquet flooring.
The bathroom is entirely white, as typical Scandinavian arrangements have accustomed us to. It is small, equipped only with essential bathroom elements, making it very easy to maintain.
