The space in children's rooms should be rationally divided between a homework desk, a play and toy area, and a space for rest and relaxation. To achieve this, it is necessary to efficiently organize: books, toys, writing utensils, painting supplies, and clothes.

Books take up a lot of space but need to be displayed visibly and accessibly. For books, you can build a wooden shelf in various shapes, such as a tree. The resulting shelf offers a pleasant image while also serving its purpose as an organizer.

Another idea is to arrange the books vertically on a shelf like CDs. You can also use the bottom of the room for books: a spacious dresser or a special organizer placed directly on the floor.

Toys are what differentiate a child's room from any other room in the house, and their storage and organization can be a challenge. A creative idea that also changes the atmosphere of the room is to hang baskets from the ceiling to hold all sorts of plush toys.

The image created will be that of dirigible balloons, and practically the weight will not be great and there is no risk of them detaching. A practical recommendation is to use a supporter for labeled boxes. We can sort each category of toys in the boxes: cars, balls, dolls or plushies.

For toys, we can also use drawers masked with a countertop on the floor, where a wide variety of toys and games for children can be hidden. For boys, but also for girls, you can use the interior or exterior door of a wardrobe where you place an organizer made of fabric or plastic for dolls, cars or robots.

For a striking image, wrought iron baskets can be mounted on the wall to store plush toys, as well as dolls or balls. Since children collect many toys over time, you can sacrifice an entire wall to bring in a bookcase where the entire toy collection can be stored in plastic boxes.

Drawing supplies are also part of the play area and need a special place to be easily used and organized. For writing and painting utensils, you can reserve a special space in the bookcase where markers, pencils and watercolors are stored in transparent jars.

These can of course also be kept on the desk in an iron holder inserted with plastic jars for easier sorting into categories. For visibility and easy access, you can use a special fabric holder hung from top to bottom on one of the windows.

Organizing clothes is also a challenge if the child's bedroom does not have a dressing room attached. To organize and hide clothes at the same time, you can opt for two separate wardrobes to keep the room as airy as possible. If you don't want the clothes to be hidden in wardrobes, you can keep portions of the wardrobe visible to complete the image of the room.

Dressers are often used for children's clothes; since children's clothes are small, they are easily organized in this type of furniture.

To put these ideas into practice and have a unified image, you should always consider the theme of the room, the central colors of the room, and the personality and passions of the child.
