Having your own home is the dream of many young people. This was also the case for a couple from Spain, who after years of renting and countless searches, managed to find the much-desired apartment. From the moment they saw it, they knew it would be theirs.
They called on interior designer Ana Garcia for advice and guidance on making the right choices. The 90 square meter surface area of the apartment represented a major advantage that Ana took full advantage of. Their requirements were minimal but important, so that the new space would reflect their personalities.
They were always drawn to Nordic interiors, so they thought their future home should also be decorated in this spirit. Then, they wanted their new home to feature artwork by friends and not only, as well as some of the pieces they already owned to be integrated into the new decor.
With all these details, Ana managed to create bright and welcoming spaces, but above all original. The living area is marked by a library that the two desired very much. There is also a conversation area, as well as a reading area, all with minimalist furniture.
In the same room, the dining space was also integrated, with Masters chairs from Kartell being excellent design pieces perfectly integrated into this Scandinavian decor.
Old and new potentiate each other and create harmonious interiors in this apartment. The artistic character and personal approach stand out right from the entrance to the dwelling. Here, the console and bench, both slightly patinated, are complemented by paintings selected together with the designer.
Chromatically, white, cream and diaphanous shades were used, as well as natural wood perceived at the level of the flooring. White and wood make a good home together in this arrangement, being practically the base on which touches of color have been added.
