Arranging a small apartment implies a careful selection of furniture and other accessories. It all translates into good organization, but this doesn't mean that the decor can't be stylish. Proof of this is this 40 sqm apartment furnished with many details that caught our attention.
Open the GalleryComfortable, bright and cheerful, these would be the words we could use to describe the main features of this home. The entire design is based on an open plan, with walls separating rooms being almost non-existent, with a single exception – the bedroom. Maintaining an open space, the entire layout appears brighter and more spacious.
White fully supports this feeling, while gray and lime green accents provide an extra touch of color that ensures an interesting effect in the overall design.
Functional furniture provides the essentials for each area without cluttering the space. For the living area, the sofa is the main piece of furniture, discreetly complemented by a coffee table. A few shelves and a TV stand ensure storage for some decorations and books. The green rug effectively delineates the living area from the kitchen space.
The white kitchen with smooth, glossy surfaces offers functional storage spaces through cabinets and drawers that house everything needed for this room. In addition, the bar area, which also functions as a dining space, also provides storage for dishes and cutlery. Here too, green accents, at the countertop and bar level, ensure an extra touch of dynamism to the area.
The lighting fixtures are also noteworthy, with their wires being green.
But the most interesting thing in this house is the partition wall between the main room and the bedroom, made of plexiglass decorated with a plant motif. The same motif can be found in the mosaic-type painting above the sofa, thus ensuring cohesion within the space. The material allows light to penetrate into the bedroom without affecting the privacy of the room.
