There's a vacation vibe floating through our office. And since we were looking for an interior design that would inspire us, we found this wonderful attic designed by the designers at Equipo Nimu from Madrid.
This 30 square meter studio is a true home in every sense of the word. Equipped and personalized with carefully chosen pieces, the space breathes personality and style. We love its brightness; a lot of white was used to amplify the space and make it appear larger.
The exposed beams and untreated wood (only treated) create a subtle vintage effect throughout the design. Many neutral tones predominate, with white, cream and wood.
The small apartment includes all the functions you need to live comfortably. Although the space seems narrow, the designers managed to reduce this effect by outlining each area of the house. From the kitchen to the dining area, living room and towards the sleeping area, the functions intertwine harmoniously, diverting your attention from the initial configuration.
The cooking area is small with storage concentrated only in the lower area. For the dining space, seating is provided by a bench that stretches along the entire length of the wall, also offering space to display various decorations that pleasantly personalize the space. We particularly like the baskets of different sizes. All the pieces are pleasantly combined chromatically.
Our favorite space is the one dedicated to the bedroom. The sloping ceiling, wooden beams, handmade bench and, of course, the bed come together in a bohemian decor, minimally treated but comfortable enough to dream beautifully.
