For today, we propose a contemporary interior design realized in a 2-room apartment that you can use as a source of inspiration. But, let's see in detail how this concept was thought out and implemented.
The designers from Maq Studio proposed a simple approach, drawing inspiration from the Nordic style. The beneficiaries desired brightness and an airy, functional space, but also details that would personalize the design in an original way. Thus, functionality prevails in each area, while accessories or finishes come to complement the decor with style.
Part of the furniture is custom-made so that the designers could better translate their idea of originality into the décor. One such example is the dining table with a solid wood top and white legs inspired by classic pieces or the small desk in the bedroom.
Alongside this design, we find pieces inspired by retro, industrial, rustic, and contemporary styles, all harmoniously combined on a neutral ground with plenty of white and wood.
The brick wall in the living room adds texture to the space, and the contrast between smooth and rough surfaces brings an extra touch of interest to the design.
In the living room, along the wall leading towards the hallway, a storage area with varied spaces has been set up. Then, the sofa, a coffee table, the TV stand, and an armchair make up the living room arrangement. The lighting fixture manages to attract attention, being one of those unexpected elements that imprint an original character on the space.
For the kitchen, simple furniture was used, with a parallel layout optimizing every available square meter. Appliances are integrated, and white reflects light, thus amplifying the space. The insertion of those decorative tiles at floor level manages to catch the eye, and the brick wall is the decorative motif repeated in this function as well.
