The concept of furniture has undergone an amazing development, coming with unique pieces inspired by classic furniture or totally innovative, with original shapes and models, in bold colors and made from the most diverse materials. Among these are also the furniture creations of the sculptor from South Korea, Lila Jang.

The twisted and inflated pieces created by the artist are versions of 18th-century French furniture and came as inspiration from the space problems that many of us face.

Lila Jang's idea to create these furniture pieces was born during the period when the artist lived in a very small apartment in Paris, and the space was not enough for her. She was also inspired by the desire to escape the monotonous daily routine, so she invented playful and space-saving furniture.

Describing her creations, Jang states that the work she has done "represents who we are in the place where we are as human beings: in the middle of the struggle between reality and idealism".

The design of the two chairs gives them a human touch. The funniest one is the tilted one, which seems somewhat annoyed.
