The spectacular revitalization of old apartments has always been a source of inspiration for most of us. In the following transformation, a young couple achieved an exceptional change in the interior decor of their 85 sq m apartment, full of creativity and good taste.
Thus, we return to wonderful Spain, to enjoy an apartment that, besides acquiring a new face, has also been reconfigured to meet the needs of its owners. Moreover, various furniture elements from the old layout continue to coexist spectacularly with those in a modern style.
The owner of this apartment is an architect, and this is reflected in the recreated interior design for this dwelling. All decor elements have been adapted to bear the imprint of the couple, and the result obtained through repainting and the current design is spectacular.
The 85 sq m apartment was thus structured to satisfy the couple's most essential needs: a kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms, an office, and a bathroom. The door and window frames were painted entirely white to reflect natural light for good lighting and to create a sense of spaciousness in the apartment.
The double door was transformed into a simple archway to gain space. The contrast between old and new furniture pieces is visible at every step.
Most of the vintage furniture pieces have been kept, and now they share the space with newly acquired pieces, creating a spectacular effect of unity. The soft gray of the walls introduces you to the peaceful atmosphere of a couple's home. The original floor in warm tones has also been reconditioned.
