The Coffee Factory is as "fresh" a café as you can find. It opened in January of this year and is located in the Piata Kogalniceanu area, on Bulevardul Regina Elisabeta at number 54.
At The Coffee Factory, all the elements that make up the decor are related to coffee: large sacks of coffee stored in plain sight, an industrial coffee grinder, the material from which the sofa upholstery is made, portafilters (espresso machine devices) hung above the bar, large chandeliers shaped like portafilters hanging from the ceiling, everything here "breathes" the unique and interesting aroma of coffee.
As soon as we entered the café, we were enveloped by the strong aroma of coffee emanating from the sacks displayed in the corners of the room. The very high ceiling makes the establishment feel incredibly spacious.
Stefan Iordache, the owner of The Coffee Factory, also designed the interior. His passion for coffee and numerous travels around the world served as sources of inspiration. He explained to us in detail every part of the large wall drawings, all of which, of course, are related to coffee.
While enjoying a cup of this wonderful energizing liquor, I was able to admire with interest a map of the areas where the best coffee varieties are grown, drawn on an entire wall.
At The Coffee Factory you can also purchase various types of coffee, which you can roast using the enormous machine in the corner of the bar. This appliance is fully functional.
Interesting details such as coffee samples placed on each table, portafilters present throughout the space, discreet jazz music playing in the background, and a handmade coat rack fashioned from wrench keys and covered in burlap from coffee sacks, lend authenticity to the place and make the entire design unique.
The owner also revealed the continuation of The Coffee Factory story: soon, a terrace with the same aesthetic will be added. This will be the perfect place to enjoy coffee during the summer. The terrace will be located behind the buildings, in a very quiet and shady setting that will isolate you from the noise and bustle of the boulevard.
The Coffee Factory is the ideal place where you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine while browsing a book; it can also be a socializing spot or a meeting place with friends.
