The approach to the apartment I want to talk about today follows the Scandinavian design line, a style that is accessible for any type of space.

With an area of 60 square meters, this 3-bedroom apartment shows us how to comfortably and functionally furnish such a space. You will surely find useful sources of inspiration that you can put into practice in your own home.

With such a configuration, the rooms do not have a very generous surface area, so one of the challenges of the design was to keep each space as bright and airy as possible, optimized according to its destination.

As a general feature of the Nordic style, the space is not cluttered with furniture but maintains only the strict essentials. In our case, for the living room we find the sofa, an armchair, and a console-type piece (custom-made) as the main pieces. Decorations and textiles come to shape the personality of the room in a pleasant way.

The color scheme describes a neutral tone on the background, with color accents meant to open up and enliven the atmosphere. The yellow armchair together with the Tolomeo lamp describe a wonderful reading corner arranged by the window. Plants bring a touch of green to the decor. In fact, we will find them in most of the main rooms.

Opening the living room towards the hallway allowed for two tall wardrobes to be fitted on either side of the walls, in two niches specially created to increase storage capacity. The play of mirrors, both in the wardrobes and the mosaic created in the hallway passage area, contributes to enlarging the space and reflecting light.

A similar approach is found in the kitchen, a small and compact space furnished with taste. The trick of positioning mirrors opposite the dining area provides a sense of spaciousness so necessary in the context of the kitchen. The furniture is white, with a wooden worktop and built-in appliances to enhance the unitary character of the decor.

Interesting are the slightly three-dimensional tiles that outline an accent zone between the space between the furniture units. The stoneware imitating the appearance of granite will be found both in the kitchen and in the hallway.

For the bedrooms, the design follows a functional decor line. In the master bedroom, the arrangement focuses around the bed. A comfortable headboard made of textile material, with two bedside tables on either side of the bed, two pendant lamps instead of bedside lamps, and a shelf with various paintings of sentimental value for the beneficiaries.
