Colors and the right lighting can work wonders in any interior design, especially in small spaces. For this 43 square meter apartment, the designer relied precisely on these assets to achieve a modern and elegant decor.

The space was designed for a young beneficiary who wanted a current furnished home with color accents and, above all, a bedroom, no matter how small. Although the initial configuration was a one-bedroom apartment, the designer managed to optimize the existing space, ensuring a sleeping area which she delimited using curtains.

The main functions blend harmoniously into an open space, delimitations being at a visual level. For example, the sleeping area is delimited by curtains that ensure the necessary privacy, while the kitchen is separated from the rest of the room by a bar-type unit.

Through a system of shelves with recessed spotlights, the entire apartment receives uniform lighting. Chromatically, white was used extensively for its space amplification effect, neutral colors and shades of blue and purple discreetly personalize the space. Minimalism best describes this interior design; only the strictly necessary pieces were integrated, keeping the space airy and fluid.

This was possible thanks to the two closets, one located immediately next to the entrance door and another near the bathroom.

The kitchen area has been very well highlighted, ensuring everything needed for cooking and storage. The furniture is arranged in an L shape, providing extra space on the worktop. White was chosen for all cabinet fronts, and the space between them was decorated with colored glass panels.

The living room area follows the minimalist design line, with a two-seater sofa and a suspended furniture unit located under the television. Decorations (see the clock) and the accent wall outlined in blue describe the focal point of this area of the apartment.

For the bedroom area as well, the designer relied on custom-made furniture, and the accent color is purple, a shade that imprints a discreet elegance on the decor. The upholstered headboard of the bed, the wall, the ottoman, and the decorative pillows perfectly convey the feminine chromatic motif.
