When you say cool, you say Kulturhaus. A few days ago, the party season reopened at one of Bucharest's most famous clubs. The students' favorite clubbing spot prepared a surprise of epic proportions for them and welcomed thousands of young people eager to have fun in a brand new setting.

Open the GalleryAt inside, the huge hall near Cocorul comes alive with color.

Green is the dominant color of this new layout which, although it seems to be exactly as we would imagine a place as jovial as Kulturhaus, is said to not yet be finalized and it appears that lovers of lively weekend nights will have many other surprises in terms of interior design in the weeks to come.

What is even more special about this club renovation is that there were no sketches or plans signed by any renowned architect or designer involved. The Kulturhaus team did everything from scratch in less than a month, and they even finished everything they set out to do a day before the grand opening. A bold DIY project successfully completed.

The project wasn't based on a specific concept but rather the desire to create a very friendly space that could accommodate a large number of people, be fresh, and different from what you would normally find in a club. We can say they succeeded brilliantly.

The decor, as mentioned, evokes a giant playground with oversized mushroom stools replacing bar chairs, asymmetrical sofas, armchairs in primary colors and childlike shapes.

You might think they wouldn't fit into an industrial-style space, as we were used to seeing Kulturhaus, but the rules of mixing design styles are also meant to be broken boldly.

Words are unnecessary, we invite you to smile at the sight of the images in the gallery above and recommend you follow Kulturhaus on their Facebook page and be sure to visit them soon.
