A hotel in China has bypassed the employee hiring process altogether because its entire staff is made up of robots. From receptionists to maids and porters, the Pengheng Space Capsules hotel in Shenzhen, China, has built its workforce instead of hiring people.
The hotel was designed so that all the services it offers are carried out through computerized systems and robots, and the maintenance costs for the entire concept are minimal. That's why accommodation prices are also very low, with a room being below the average for hotels in the region.
The expectations of tourists who choose this hotel should not be too high, considering the low accommodation prices, but nevertheless, the facilities it offers are quite impressive, the hotel focusing on the design and concept of "robotic experience".
If you choose the Pengheng Space Capsules hotel, you will be greeted at the entrance by a robot porter, and when you want to order food or drinks, you will do so directly from some computer tablets.
The rooms are very small, but the experience is certainly unique, especially since they are shaped like capsules and the whole atmosphere is futuristic.
Wouldn't you like to stay in a hotel full of robots?
