Today's story features a three-room apartment in Bucharest, recently renovated by the i Decorate team for a young family with a two-year-old daughter. The clients knew from the beginning that they wanted a warm, colorful design where all family members would feel a sense of "being home.

One of the beneficiaries' requests was the presence of color accents to avoid monotony and the use of wallpaper in at least one area of the dwelling.

The designers proposed using pastel shades that would preserve and enhance the brightness of the apartment while harmoniously reflecting the personality and youthfulness of the family.

The chromatic palette was an important factor in this renovation, but functionality came first. They wanted to take advantage of every square centimeter available and thus created custom storage systems (made by Movi Design), perfectly fitted to the dimensions of the space.

At the level of compartmentalization, no changes were made to the configuration proposed by the developer; the existing individual spaces were retained: access hall, living room with dining area, closed kitchen, master bedroom and child's bedroom, bathroom, toilet and a small bedroom furnished as an office.

The master bedroom was treated as a cheerful, relaxing space in light, pastel colors: pistachio green inside the niche where the bed is located, lilac purple for the curtains, and dusty pink for textile accessories. The wardrobe built on the wall with the bed ensures sufficient storage space.

The office is furnished in minimalist lines, with few pieces of furniture, highlighting the desk with two white swivel chairs and the gray sofa behind it. Shades of gray, beige, and cream predominate, with a more intense color accent here being the orange shade chosen for the roller blind.
