A small balcony can be a real headache. If you only use it as a storage space, but you want to make a notable change, we totally understand your struggle. And to show you that you're not alone in this endeavor, we present below an idea on how to transform your balcony into a more than pleasant place to spend time.
With only 2 square meters, the balcony of this apartment was used only as storage space for various things, more or less useful. Thus, during spring cleaning, unnecessary items disappeared and an intense renovation began.
The walls received a fresh coat of whitewash, the old glass balustrade was replaced and clad with white-painted wood. The floor was covered with a carpet that imitated grass. The windows received a new look with a set of white curtains.
Solar lights were used for lighting, which charge during the day and gradually light up as darkness falls. A few pots with plants were hung from the ceiling, and a shelf holder on the wall houses other pots with various aromatic herbs and colorful plants.
We will also find flowers outside the balcony, arranged in two special boxes attached to the balustrade to create an extra green space and beautify the balcony from the outside.
A narrow folding table and two chairs harmoniously complete the romantic decor simply but tastefully decorated. The splashes of color from the flowers, the green of the plants, and the decorative cushions add a touch of dynamism and cheerfulness to the space.
