If you have an old kitchen and think it's a lost cause, think again.

You are about to see how a kitchen that hadn't been renovated for almost 20 years was transformed, on a minimal budget, into a modern one with a fresh feel.

Even if it doesn't seem like it, the furniture in the picture after the renovation is the same. The designers kept only the countertop in its original state, changing the appearance of the cabinets. Thus, the furniture was painted in two matte tones, gray and white. Choosing this color scheme opens up the room a lot and gives it a fresh, bright look.

Also, the designers highlighted the window and gave it a maximizing effect by using white tiles around it.

The chandelier was replaced with one that blends in with the newly chosen style, and to complete the furniture, specialists also chose four bar stools.

The stone floor was replaced with parquet on which they placed a vintage rug. This is an interesting and sophisticated element used by designers to emphasize the combination of classic and modern.

The designers took advantage of the generous dimensions of the kitchen and set up a dining area in the free half of it.

To complete the fresh atmosphere, decorative accessories were used: flowers, bowls and other wooden vessels.
