In 2007, American Wes Hoke purchased this property, which included a warehouse among other structures. Although the house was in perfect condition, Wes decided to transform the warehouse in the corner of the garden into a livable space. This was especially appealing because the annex was situated higher than the house and could offer a better view of the city.

Wes is a doctor by profession and spends most of his time at work around patients, so he tries to spend as much time outdoors as possible on weekends. This is why transforming the shed into a recreation space has become a priority.

The construction features a modern architecture and is focused more on the outdoors. It benefits from a small covered terrace with a pergola, a staircase paved with natural stone, and thick drapes that provide privacy.

The color of the tables and furniture was chosen based on the other elements present in the overall decor. The table and chairs are made of metal, while the rug is made from recycled plastic, making it easy to maintain and also resistant to moisture and mold.

This little corner of Courtyards has become the ideal place for relaxation, whether to read a book or admire the surroundings of the house. The dining area is positioned in the shade of trees and the time spent here with friends are truly pampering moments.

The landscaping project is not yet finalized. The owners want to install a more efficient lighting system above the table, and the interior will also be optimized to create more storage spaces and a refrigerator for keeping drinks cold.
