Corn, one of the favorite cereals of Romanians, can be planted very easily if certain conditions are met. Being a plant that needs a lot of sun, about 6-8 hours of light per day, growing corn is recommended in warm areas.
Also, the soil in which you decide to plant the corn must be a warm one, which is lit for a good part of the day.
Once you have chosen the area in your garden where you want to plant corn, break up the soil well and preferably it should not have been planted with vegetables or plants that consume many nutrients before. This way you will be sure that the soil in which you decide to plant is a nutritious one.
The distance at which the corn kernels should be planted from each other is approximately 30-40 cm, and the depth at which they should be placed is approximately 5 cm.
Holes can be made with a simple stick stuck in the ground, and this will also help you measure the distance between rows.
