Goji berries have conquered the world through their multiple health benefits and being extremely rich in antioxidants. These small fruits, which we usually find dried, are becoming increasingly popular every day.
Goji is the name given to Chinese wolfberry and is a small fruit, shaped like a raisin, red in color and can be found in almost any health food store in our country.
Planting Goji bushes is not an extremely difficult process, and these fruits have a favorable climate even in our country, where they can grow in very good and even optimal conditions. You need fairly fertile soil, which you must mix with natural fertilizer beforehand, after which the small Goji bush can be easily planted.
These bushes will come in vacuum-sealed bags with their roots fixed in the ground, separated from each other. When you take them out, you need to be careful that they are held by the soil, not directly by the stem, as you risk pulling the plant out of the soil and breaking its roots.
In the first phase, Goji bushes are planted in pots with approximately 10 liters of soil. And considering that these are such delicious fruits, you need to make sure that birds, rabbits or other rodents don't get to them, as they will eat them without hesitation.
Goji bushes must be fenced if you decide to plant them outdoors and you should choose a very sunny spot in your garden for them to grow in the best possible conditions and to have the highest productivity in terms of the number of fruits.
