Sugarcane is one of the plants that is very easy to grow and which grows at an extremely fast rate, and if you decide on such a crop, you might be impressed by how quickly this plant rises.

Being a type of grass, it grows very fast, reaching dimensions of 2-3 meters in about 1 year, when it is also its harvesting period.

To plant sugarcane, you will need a root, from which several stalks will emerge. These can be cut and planted separately, thus giving you more sugarcane plants.

The root must be buried at approximately 1-2 cm in the ground, as it does not need a great depth to grow. Within the first two weeks, growth will already be noticeable, with the first leaves emerging on the surface.

Over time, you will observe the expansion of the sugarcane by the appearance of more and more new leaves, which will give rise to other plants.

Sugarcane is harvested extremely easily and being a perennial plant, it does not need to be replanted every year. It will bear fruit for many years in a row, and the simplest way to do this is to cut it in half.

From the remaining half in the soil, a new sugarcane plant will grow, just as productive, without you having to put too much effort into its maintenance.
