For her parents' apartment renovation, Tania sought help from to the Deco Trend design studio Knowing that the renovation would be complex, they decided to have the entire project professionally executed to meet their needs.

The 52 square meter apartment is divided into a living room and bedroom, hallway, kitchen and bathroom, a space that needed a makeover suitable for the beneficiaries' age. They desired a simple, airy home with a functional kitchen, in neutral, warm colors.

Livingul

Warm colors such as beiges, cream and white were used to reflect light and amplify the space. Although the balcony was transformed into an extension of the living room, two thick velvet curtains were retained to block strong light when watching television, especially during the day.

The Kitchen

was selected an L-shaped configuration The kitchen was designed to optimize the available space. Therefore, the area next to the window was also used, where the sink was installed. Appliances are integrated to maintain a unified look, with the exception of the refrigerator.

The dining area was conceived as a self-contained zone through small decorations and the addition of a lighting fixture. This way, the entire assembly gains personality, in an attempt to separate the kitchen's technical area from this sector which resembles a living room more.

The hallway was designed in a classic style, featuring a console and mirror in the same spirit. A storage area with built-in wardrobes and mirrored doors was also created here, achieving the effect of enlarging the small space. Both in the hallway and kitchen, hexagonal ceramic tiles were used to enhance the sense of unity between the two spaces.
