This apartment in Sao Paulo was designed by the architecture firm D T Studio The result is an authentic arrangement, full of color and nonconformism. The owners asked the architects to reconfigure the entire space, so one of the two bedrooms was sacrificed, and the remaining space was made available to the other rooms.

The kitchen and living room have been combined into a single open-space area, resulting in long wall lines and making the kitchen brighter and more welcoming.

During the construction work, concrete beams were discovered which later served as inspiration for the architects in creating an interior design with urban accents. Some concrete walls were kept in their natural form, without any further decorations or finishes, and these walls were taken into account when choosing the colors to decorate the rest of the space.

To balance the cool tones of the concrete color, wooden floors and furniture pieces in the same pleasant hue were installed. In the kitchen, the lower cabinets create a very pleasing contrast with the red upper cabinets. The entire color combination used to decorate the kitchen gives off an air of good cheer and vibrancy.

Below the kitchen cabinets, a solid wood shelf is attached to the wall and serves as a table. The chairs are the same color as the upper furniture, creating a sense of unity in the design style.

The lighting system varies from room to room, and in each case, the principle of nonconformity is respected, if we can call it that. Each of these lighting fixtures integrates into this style with industrial accents, making the design one with personality.
