There are arrangements that surprise you with various elements, through colors, through an atypical arrangement, through radical modifications brought to the configuration by eliminating or adding walls. Today's project is one of these, a 4-room apartment where colors and especially prints stand out at every step.
Open Gallery The space is inhabited by a family with 2 children, an 11-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy. The arrangement of the house started from a painting (the painting with the dog that you will find in the kitchen). Having this theme set, the designer started to outline a cheerful, colorful house, eccentric in places through the integrated details.
Also, other paintings from the family's collection are found in the arrangement, as well as small souvenirs from vacations.
As you will observe in the images in the gallery above, the apartment has a unique personality. The use of wallpaper as an accent element transforms each area of the house into a special one, from the kitchen to the bedrooms. In fact, the entire 104 square meter surface manages to surprise you.
The living area was designed as a family gathering space, with a comfortable sofa, a TV area and an accent wall outlined with photos of the children and parents. The yellow armchair stands out both through its design and color, alongside the wallpaper around the windows. You will also notice many lighting fixtures, accent lamps or spotlights for general lighting.
Access to the kitchen is directly from the living room, the two doors with frosted glass ensuring the delimitation between functions. If the living room seemed moderate in its approach, the kitchen comes to bring an infusion of color and prints. Turquoise is the base color of the walls, while white was chosen for furniture and doors to stand out and balance the chromatic scheme.
The wallpaper takes the place of the classic ceramic tiles between the furniture units, being covered with a transparent glass panel for protection and efficient maintenance.
The same line of arrangement is found in the bedrooms. The children's rooms are cheerfully colored, but in muted colors for a balanced decor. Again, the wallpaper is found in the window area, describing the point of interest of the rooms.
